Sanzo glowered at the portal instead of Raistlin, knowing the mage was unlikely to stick around long while he mulled over his choices. Or mulled over that bit of information. Another world, he wasn't sure how to process that one. A pocket dimension maybe? He'd been in more than his fair share of those.

Nothing in Sanzo's life was allowed to be fair. Something he had accepted a long time ago but, here he was. Staring at his only option and what a shitty one it was. He didn't like the gamble involved here and had no confidence he'd be delivered back where he should be.

He really needed a smoke right now.
